Morecambe homeowner rescued after kitchen fire
Fire crews from Morecambe and Lancaster were called to a house fire in Morecambe in the early hours of Tuesday, July 5.
Both crews were called out to a house on Marine Road East in Morecambe at 4.31am today.
The fire which had started in the kitchen was quickly extinguished.
The homeowner had to be checked over by paramedics at the scene for the effects of breathing smoke.
