Video blogger Luke Woodhouse will be launching the Blended Parent Network, which targets all types of families including same sex marriages, adopted children and children who may live with grandparents.

The 29-year-old wants to stray away from the ‘mum versus dad culture’ which he says is dominating the internet at the moment.

He said: “I think there is a gap in the market for this type of site.

“Each family is very different and these networks tend to focus on mum dad and 2.4 children and the idea of the perfect PARENT.

“Sites like Mumsnet and the Dads Network, they seem to just focus on mums or dads, there is no in between.

“If you are a parent looking for support and advice online you can often get smothered by all the things out there.

“I want this site to be a completely, neutral and honest, there is a lot of stuff out there which is fake.

“Different blends, same ends.”

When official launched on August 12, the site will feature vlogs (videos), blogs, reviews, news and a forum. The dad-of-two will also involve other parents across Morecambe and Lancaster.
