Morecambe bar and bistro wins top food award
Aspect Bar and Bistro has been given the food award for the ‘Best Bistro in England.’
This is the second time the eatery has been awarded the national accolade, with the first being in 2014. Last year, it took the northwest regional title for ‘Best Bistro.’

The team at Aspect Bar and Bistro, headed up by owners Paul Bury and Judy Edmondson and including chefs Darren Tattersall and Craig Scott, are not resting on their laurels.
They actually have the chance to gain another feather in the cap, as they are shortlisted in the Lancashire Tourism Awards, in the ‘Taste Lancashire’ category.
These awards will be held at Blackburn Cathedral on November 10, when the winner will be revealed.

Visits to producers and cook-offs of ‘contending’ foods in the Aspect kitchens are part and parcel of inclusion on the eatery’s menu.
Paul Bury said: “We are delighted, but taken aback, at winning a food award for the third successive year and being judged the best in the country for the second time.
“When we won the national award in 2014, we were extremely pleased, but to be the best in the country on two occasions is just an amazing feeling.
