Missing Morecambe teenager last seen at Manchester Piccadilly station leaves police increasingly worried

An urgent appeal has been launched to find a missing 16-year-old girl who was last seen in Manchester.

Sophie O’Dere, 16, from Morecambe, was last seen at Piccadilly Railway Station, Manchester, yesterday (July 13th) at 5.55pm boarding a train to London.

She has links to Leyland, London and Llandudno in Wales and is described as 5ft 10ins tall, of medium build, with brown eyes.

Sophie was last seen wearing a pale blue denim jacket, a mustard colour knee length skirt and dark coloured shoes with white soles.

Sgt Ian McVety, from Lancashire Police, said: “We are becoming increasingly concerned for Sophie’s welfare and I would encourage anybody who sees her or knows where she is to contact us immediately. I would also appeal directly to Sophie to make contact with us if she sees this appeal.”
