Local organisations and businesses are coming together to provide a magical experience
From December 5 to 7, Morecambe Parish Church Christmas Festival comes to town, inspired by C.S.Lewis’s ‘The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe’.
Visitors will enter through a special wardrobe into the church building, where they will encounter a forest of Christmas trees, decorated and displayed by local organisations, businesses and individuals.
There will also be a programme of live entertainment at the front of church.
Meanwhile, over in the War Memorial Hall, Aslan’s Pavilion provides the perfect venue for our Christmas Fair.
This will showcase a wide range of products from local traders, including cards, art, jewellery, cakes, confectionery and other crafts.
It’s an ideal opportunity to buy a unique Christmas gift.
Mr Tumnus’ café will also be open in the hall to provide light refreshments throughout, including mulled wine in the evening.
On Saturday, lunches will also be available.
Pop along to Morecambe Parish Church, Church Street, Morecambe, on Thursday, December 5, between 3pm and 8pm; Friday, December 6, between 3pm and 8pm and Saturday, December 7, between 10.30am and 5.30pm.
Admission (includes both venues) is £1 for adults, accompanied children free.
