Lorry almost loses hay bale load over Carnforth motorway bridge
Police have been called to Kellet Road in Carnforth after a lorry carrying hay bales almost lost its load.
The vehicle came to a halt on the bridge over the M6 just before noon today, Tuesday, with its bales leaning precariously towards the bridge.
Police attended the scene while the lorry driver awaited the removal of the bales, but the road was not closed.
