Long tailbacks on M6 after crash closes section of the motorway
Drivers on the M6 around Preston are being turned back after a crash further north.
The serious crash occured between junctions 37 and 39, near Kendal, and has closed both lanes of the motorway.
This has lead to long tailbacks, and drivers around the Preston area have reported stationary traffic.
Some drivers have been advised by police to turn around.
