Let’s make a den at school

SCHOOLS are supporting butterfly conservation work and having a great time too, with the help of den making equipment.

Quernmore Primary School has just taken delivery of den making material and the children recently enjoyed having a morning lesson outside making dens in the school grounds.

The den making material was delivered by Piccadilly Gardens, who have been working with the wildlife charity Butterfly Conservation.

They have both been managing woodlands in north Lancashire for the rare and threatened butterflies found there.
