Dr Lisa Wood, one of the EASST Conference organisers at Lancaster University, said: “The biennial EASST Conference is a major international conference that will attract a large number of visitors from across Europe and beyond to Lancaster this July.

“In addition to exchanging and furthering academic ideas around the conference theme, it will also provide a boost to the local economy, with many delegates staying in the City and hundreds of extra visitors looking to eat in Lancaster on each of the three nights.”

Businesses are encouraged to contact the conference organisers to discuss how to advertise their services to delegates by emailing [email protected]

With the theme of ‘Meetings’, the conference attendees will explore how society, politics, culture, technologies, people and values affect our lives, and our relationships with others.
