LANCASTER’S regular symphony orchestra has a new home.

The Haffner Orchestra will be moving from the Ashton Hall to the Great Hall at Lancaster University for its concert in November and again in February.

It is an exciting move for the orchestra, which has gone from strength to strength since Natalia Luis-Bassa joined as conductor seven years ago.

This month’s Haffner concert takes place on Saturday, November 26 at the Great Hall. The orchestra is delighted to be playing Beethoven’s Emperor Piano Concerto.

It is six years since a piano concerto was performed by the orchestra.
