There were also 20 raffle prizes to win with products from Elemis, ghd, Redken and prizes from Lancaster businesses including Paulo Giannis, Lush, Thorntons, Expressions and The Body Shop.

Neuro DropIn, based on the Lancaster Farms estate, is a community drop in centre that provides a friendly place for people affected by a range of neurological conditions and their families to meet others that may have the same or similar conditions, get support and relax.

The charity offers many classes and groups, including yoga, physio and book groups, provides free wifi and has a café, shop and children’s play area on site.

Neuro DropIn also has a new brand and website, designed as part of ongoing pro bono work for the charity by Hotfoot Design in Lancaster, to help encourage more visitors to use the centre and its facilities.

Sharon said: “The fundraising event by DF Studio was a fabulous evening, everyone really enjoyed themselves. Thank you so much to DF Studio directors Luka, Jackie and their team for raising such a fantastic amount of money for Neuro DropIn.

“We’re totally dependent on fundraising and donations like this from amazing businesses and individuals to help run our community drop in centre, so this £800 is gratefully received and will be put to great use!”

Managing director of DF Studio, Luka Thompson, said: “It was our pleasure to hold the charity fundraising event for such a good cause. Neuro DropIn is such a wonderful charity and we’ve seen personally how the centre can help those affected by a neurological condition, so we wanted to show our support.

“Thank you to all our customers at DF Studio who bought tickets to and attended the event, and purchased raffle tickets, so we could raise £800 for Neuro DropIn.”
