The Apprentice is coming to Lancaster.
(Well, not quite, but it got your attention, didn’t it?)
Instead, aspiring professionals from city-based firm Premierline Direct will be hosting their own version of the hit BBC show to raise money for St John’s Hospice. Teams of staff from the Caton Road firm have been given a ‘hot list’ of items needed by St John’s which they’d like to auction or raffle at upcoming events.
The team’s task is to obtain as many of the items on the list as possible. The catch is, they have been given no money to get these items with. The Premierline teams will be hitting Lancaster shops and businesses tomorrow, Friday, hoping the firms will donate items to support them with their challenge.
St John’s Hospice has been Premierline’s chosen charity since 2009. The Apprentice challenge is just one of many fundraising events Premierline has taken part in this year. A few to mention include a family fun day, the Great Manchester Run, the Moonlight Walk and a World Cup challenge. Recently Premierline’s senior management team even dedicated time to help the Hospice restore outdoor benches and tidy up their grounds.
