Lancaster City Council looks set to sell one of its car parks

Lancaster City Council plans to sell a city centre car park are to go before councillors next week.

Details surrounding the sale of the Cable Street/Wood Street car park - situated between Lancaster Bus Station and The Bobbin pub - are exempt and currently not available to the press or public, althought documents suggest the meeting will be to “exchange contracts in sale”.

It is not known what the future plans are for the site.

Lancaster City Councillors are due to hear the proposals and make a decision at a cabinet meeting at Lancaster Town Hall on December 3.
