Booths has launched a next day “Click & Collect service” to help people access groceries easier throughout the Covid-19 crisis.

The service, which will be expanded as a regular service from Booths, will be extended throughout the year.

The online service offers a selection of over 150 products which can be ordered online and collected from Booths stores.

Payment can be made over the phone and goods can be collected either in store or can be arranged to be brought to your vehicle.

There is a £3 charge for all click and collect orders and shopping will be packed in bags at a cost of 20p per bag.

All products offered are subject to availability and customers will only be charged for products they receive.

Booths is also offering an emergency essential delivery service that can be ordered by calling 0800 2218086 Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4pm and payment will be taken over the phone.

There is no charge made for delivery.

Deliveries are made to customers living in a 3-mile radius of a local Booths store.

There is a range of 14 essential grocery bundles, covering the basics from milk, bread, eggs, pasta, tea fruit and vegetables and meat that can be delivered.

Booths said its teams will practice social distancing on delivery and collections to ensure safety.

A spokeswoman said: “Booths is here to help our customers access key groceries at this very challenging time.

"We brought forward our plans to launch our Click & Collect service as it presents a convenient and efficient way to shop at Booths.

"The addition to the Click & Collect service will help many customers who are concerned about their heath and others, access groceries without the need to shop in store."
