Lancaster band to share stage with Status Quo

Status Quo return to the Lake District for a show at Kendal Rugby Club on August 27 - with Lancaster’s Massive Wagons playing as special guests.

The event follows the Quo’s show at Rock On Windermere two years ago, which has now found a new home at Kendal Rugby Club.

Organiser Barry Lucas hopes the new venue will become a permanent fixture for the Rock On... events.

The Massive Wagons’ hard driving rock is gaining them a massive reputation.

Over 250 gigs in the last three years has seen their fan base grow.

On August 10 their new album Full Nelson will be released and everybody is predicting a top 40 entry into the UK charts.

Also on the bill is Storm and Jake Morley.

Other supporting acts will be added.

All proceeds will be going to support Cancer Care, Healthy Young Minds and local youth sports facilities.
