Get your Santa suit on and jingle round Lancaster’s shopping streets to raise money for local cancer support in this year’s CancerCare Santa Dash.
The Santa Dash takes place on Sunday November 22 in Lancaster’s Market Square – kicking off a day of events to celebrate the city’s Christmas lights switch-on.
Last year, more than 200 people took part in the festive themed family fun run with all the proceeds going to help local families affected by cancer and other life limiting conditions.
Registration is open from 11.45am to 12.30pm, and Santas gather in Market Square at 12.45pm for a fun warm-up.
At 1pm Santas are off on a one-mile route around the city centre - taking in St Nic’s Arcade and receiving a well earned mince pie. For more visit www.cancercare.org.uk or call 01524 381 820.
