Jim presented TV darts quiz show Bullseye from 1981 to 1995 and was famed for catchphrases including ‘Look at what you could have won’.

The 78-year-old comedian smashed the competition with 26% of the vote on the Quiz Britain website.

Victoria Coren Mitchell, host of BBC quiz Only Connect, came second with The Chase presenter Bradley Walsh in third place.
