Hotel and festival join awards party

Venues, events and attractions in the Lancaster and Morecambe district have received a whopping 24 nominations in the Lancashire Tourism awards.

The Midland hotel is up for two gongs and the Morecambe Vintage-by-the-Sea festival has also been nominated.

Winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on Thursday, November 6 at The Blackpool Tower Ballroom.

Sustainable Tourism Award: Holiday Inn Lancaster; Lancaster House Hotel

Best Visitor Experience of the Year Award: Bay Sea School, Morecambe
