Horse pulled to safety in Halton
Firefighters helped get a horse back on its feet after it slipped in its stable in Halton.
Fire crews from Lancaster and Bolton-le-Sands attended to the stable on Kirkby Lonsdale Road at 7am on Wednesday (March 16) after the horse’s leg became trapped underneath itself.
The owner and a vet were in attendance and crews used a sling, ropes and harness to pull the horse back on its feet.
