Help shape your newspaper’s future

Have you ever wondered what your favourite local newspaper would be like if it was the same size as The Times or The Independent?

Many readers have told us they would prefer the Lancaster Guardian with a more manageable page size than the current broadsheet.

Now we have produced a 56-page compact edition and we’d like to know what you think of it.

We’re inviting readers and non-readers alike to come into our office to see the dummy edition, which contains all your usual news, features and sport plus some new content and a refreshed design.

You’re welcome to visit us at 29 Common Garden Street in Lancaster between 10am and 1pm and 2pm and 5pm on Saturday, March 19 and between 9am and 5.30pm on Tuesday, March 22.

Our market research team would like to survey your response to the new look.

This is your chance to help shape the future of a newspaper which has been part of the city’s life since 1837 and will remain so for many years to come.
