Heartthrob actors are latest stars to stay at Morecambe Hotel

The Morecambe Hotel has welcomed three top film and television actors '“ adding to its growing reputation for attracting the stars.

Dougray Scott, Luke Pasqualino and Tamer Hassan stayed at the Lord Street guesthouse and restaurant while filming in Lancaster.

The trio have been shooting a TV remake of the 2000 Guy Ritchie film ‘Snatch’ also starring Harry Potter actor Rupert Grint.

Scott’s past film credits include Deep Impact, Mission Impossible 2 and Ripley’s Game, and he also appeared in TV show Desperate Housewives.

Pasqualino played d’Artagnan in TV show The Musketeers and also starred in Our Girl, Miranda and Skins.

Hassan is best known for starring alongside Danny Dyer in The Football Factory and also appeared in Layer Cake and The Business.

The hotel creatively posted a photo of the three actors on its Facebook page as a competition – asking people to name them with the winner receiving Chateaubriand for two and a bottle of house wine or prosecco.

The Morecambe Hotel reopened in August 2015 after a £1m makeover.

Previous celebrity guests to visit the Morecambe Hotel include rugby league legend Martin Offiah, England and Manchester United footballer Marcus Rashford, and pop band Scouting for Girls.
