A ZUMBATHON and family fun day is being held this Saturday in aid of the Make a Wish Foundation.

Organisers Dawn Davies and her partner Ian Hill, who lost their baby girl Maisie at five weeks old to SVT (supraventricular Tachycardia), are hoping to raise £1000 to add to the £3000 they have already raised.

The event is this Saturday, August 4, on Bolton-le-Sands football field, between 1pm and 4pm.

The Zumbathon will go on for three hours, but people are welcome to take part for as long as they can.

Tickets to join this event are £5.

Husbands and lads from Heysham power station are also taking part.

There will also be a raffle held on the day with some great prizes, a barbecue and lots of stalls.
