A Carnforth GP has been elected vice chairman of the British Medical Association for the second year running.

Dr David Wrigley is a senior GP at Ash Trees Surgery and has been at the busy surgery for 15 years.

The surgery has 17,500 patients.

The BMA represents all UK doctors and medical students and Dr Wrigley will be number two to the chair, Dr Chaand Nagpaul.
