A group of runners have raised more than £550 for Brain Tumour Research after taking part in the Great Manchester Run.

Fitness instructor Paula Revie started a running club with a view to take part in the 10k over the weekend. The free club asked members to donate each week as they trained. Karen Coe along with 20 other members from Lancaster and Morecambe have never took part in a challenge like this before. Karen said: “We have had great nights, hard nights and disappointing nights but we did it.”
