The Morecambe in Bloom 2015 competition doesn’t just have to be about flowers, it’s about encouraging the local community to participate and focus on the quality of the local environment.

The competition is open to all and is free to enter.

There are eleven classes and entrants may enter as many classes that apply to them.

Entries are invited in the following classes:

Lancaster City Council Tourism Award for Best Hotel, Public House or Bed & Breakfast.

Morecambe in Bloom Amateur Garden Challenge Cup.

Morecambe & District Chamber of Trade Business Trophy.

The Vera Bailey Trophy for Best Terraced Frontage.

The David Jordan Trophy for Best Back Yard.

The JWK Community Challenge Trophy.

Under 14s (Tub, Hanging Basket or Garden Patch).

The Joan Adams Memorial Trophy for the Best Hanging Basket.

The Lesley Jordan Trophy for the Best Street or Terrace.

The Visitor Schools Challenge Cup.The Morecambe Town Council Trophy for Best Shopping Street or Area.

Winners will be awarded Bronze, Silver, Silver Gilt or Gold certificates. Additionally, judges will nominate an overall winner in each class.
