Ghost stories at Lancaster Castle

SPINE-TINGLING supernatural tales will be told at Lancaster Castle this weekend.

For the third year running, Demi-Paradise Productions is presenting its Ghostly Tales.

From 7.30pm tomorrow (Friday), and Saturday, October 8, four professional actors will set the imagination racing with some classic spooky stories.

The audience, sub-divided into smaller groups, will move from one atmospherically-lit setting to another, to take in all four stories.

They will also enjoy a nerve-settling interval drink in the surroundings of Shire Hall.

The tales will range in style, content and setting, reflecting the full range of a rich and varied genre.

Robert Louis Stevenson’s The Body Snatcher, inspired by the activities of Edinburgh grave robbers and murderers Burke and Hare, will be read by Lancaster-based Scottish actor David Finlay.
