Firefighters called to burning boat
A new owner of a narrow boat moored at Glasson Dock called for help after a fire began onboard.
Firefighters from Lancaster attened at 9pm on Sunday and found an incorrectly-installed wood-burning stove set fire to a small piece of plaster board.
They removed the damaged material, checked the fire hadn’t spread elsewhere, and ventilated the boat.
Nobody was injured.
