Fire at derelict property being investigated

Police are investigating a fire which broke out in an empty property in Morecambe.

Firefighters were called out to the house on Claremont Road just after midnight on August 1.

Each floor of the three-storey derelict building was on fire.

There were no casualties but people living nearby had to be evacuated from their homes due to the smoke.

Police are appealing for information in relation to the fire.
