A man had to be helped from his car following the collision just before 4.30pm.
Firefighters then remained to ensure there were no remaining hazards following the crash in respect of fire, fuel or oil spillages or debris.
Fire crews called to Heysham collision
Firefighters and paramedics were called to Heysham on Saturday afternoon after an accident on Sandylands Promenade.
