There are more than 1,300 children in Lancashire in need of foster carers who can offer stability and security, and the number is rising.

Foster carers come from all walks of life and can be single, married or divorced, male or female. They must be aged 25-plus.

Community Foster Care is a not-for-profit agency. “If you want to join an agency that feels like a large family with a high level of support, that is what we are about,” said Emma.
