Julian Clary, Al Murray and Jimmy Cricket headline this year’s annual Lancaster comedy tradition.

The Grand Theatre’s comedy festival returns this November with a cornucopia of laughter-makers.

And this year the fun goes on for three weeks rather than the usual one!

Paul Chowdry: Saturday, November 3, 8pm

With over three million Youtube hits to his name, Chowdry is one of the country’s upcoming comedy stars. Expect humorous, insightful, yet brutally honest comedy in his new show ‘What’s Happening White People?’


Jenny Eclair: Sunday, November 4, 8pm

A Lancaster regular returns with her ‘Eclairious’ show celebrating 30 years in comedy.

Jimmy Cricket: Tuesday, November 6, 7.30pm

‘Great Value for a Tenner’ is a show for all the family from the ‘80s TV favourite and his trademark wellie boots!

Julian Clary: Thursday, November 8, 7.30pm

The King of Camp is fresh from winning Celebrity Big Brother and now is on the search for love with his new show ‘Position Vacant, Apply Within’.

Fascinating Aida: Friday, November 9, 7.30pm

Hilarious comedy trio, Fascinating Aida, are here on their Cheap Flights Tour.

Jongleurs Comedy Club on the Road: Monday, November 12, 8pm

Three comedians and a compere take to the stage as the world-famous comedy club comes to the city.

Crissy Rock: Tuesday, November 13, 8pm

Famous for her acting, writing and downright hilarious comedy value, Crissy will bring her trademark Liverpudlian love and terrifying laughter.

Pam Ayres: Thursday, November 15, 7.30pm

The nation’s favourite story and poem teller is back!

Al Murray: Sunday, November 25, 8pm.

‘The Only Way is Epic Tour’ promises to be a fantastic conclusion to the festival as the multi-award winning and very popular pub landlord delivers his brainless, bar room buffoonery.
