Festival fun as stars move in at Tussauds
But there’ll be no worrying about mud and rain with these musical sensations who announced their arrival with a photo shoot on the golden mile.
Festival Fields is the latest attraction at Madame Tussauds Blackpool that gives visitors a taste of the booming British festival scene.

Hide AdHeadlining the main stage will be music industry A-listers and best pals Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift. The brand new wax figures will take centre stage giving visitors the chance to slide up next to their favourite stars and join them on stage.
Essex charmer Olly Murs will join the top billers in the line-up. And that’s not all.
Visitors will be able to experience the smells, sounds and sights of a traditional UK festival – including a larger than life pair of wellington boots, festival-style loos and a dance area.
There’s even a singalong karaoke stage for the truly brave to belt out their favourite summer hits.

Hide AdMatthew Titherington, general manager at Madame Tussauds Blackpool, is hoping the Fylde coast’s newest music festival proves a hit.
He said: “Festivals have become a staple of the Great British Summer so it’s exciting we can now offer the public an incredible festival experience.
“We’re really looking forward to seeing people donning their best festival gear and getting into the spirit.”
Kate Shane, who oversees all of operator Merlin Entertainment’s attractions in Blackpool added: “We’ve got a whole lot of brand new experiences.“It’s all there – we’ve got Ed Sheeran, Taylor Swift and Olly Murs.”
Tussauds opens at 10am daily.
