Expansion plans mark Lancaster design firm's fifth year

One of Lancashire’s major business success stories in recent years is set to get bigger with the company now looking to create further jobs and take its number of employees up to 100 in the next 18 months.

Get Your Mobi started life in June 2011 with just two staff, a pair of laptops and a phone.

Last year the company – led by entrepreneurs Lee Brady and Adam Blakey – moved into new state-of-the- art offices at Lancaster’s White Cross Business Park as well as opening a second office at Blackpool Business Park.

Lee said: “It has been an amazing first five years for Get Your Mobi. We started small but always had a vision for where we wanted to take the company and both myself and Adam are immensely proud we have managed to achieve that. But there is no resting on our laurels. We now employ close to 50 people, have thousands of happy customers and want to continue the momentum.”

Get Your Mobi offers all aspects of online solutions for businesses no matter how big or small. Its bespoke, ultra-personal services include web design, making websites responsive to suit any platform, specialist web hosting and an array of digital marketing tools, including social media and video marketing.

The company prides itself on its personal service and is a great believer in face-to- face and telephone contact with its customers rather than an endless stream of faceless emails.

Adam added: “Our customers value our service and that has made us stand out from the crowd. “We are a Lancashire firm, and proud of it, but our customer base stretches across the UK. Our products are cutting edge, we know our business and most importantly we take time to fully understand our customers’ businesses and match services to their needs. The results speak for themselves.

“The team we have built share our passion for innovation and making sure our customers’ needs – be they a sole trader, family business or national company – are not only met but surpassed. We are expanding all the time and we are now looking at creating further positions in our company over the next 18 months .”  

Although statistically more than half of visitors to websites are using mobile devices, such as smartphones or tablets, more than 90 per cent of websites are not optimised for such devices.

Get Your Mobi began by providing solutions to this issue, but has expanded its range of services way beyond web design and now offers a full range of digital business marketing tools and solutions.

Lee said: “The world of digital marketing and web design is changing all the time and so we have built a team who not only fully understand the trends and market changes but lead them.
