A NEW nature group has been formed to teach people all about creepy crawlies.
The North Lancashire and South Lakes Reptile, Amphibian and Invertebrate Club is a new initiative run by volunteers to enthuse and educate people about these animals.
A spokesman said: “The club is working with Wetheriggs Animal Rescue Centre and Lakeland Wildlife Oasis, as well as drawing from the knowledge of local exotic animals businesses, The Animal Zone and Ugly Bugs.
“Together their knowledge and behind-the-scenes-know-how can be shared with people who choose a different type of pet.
“From snakes and spiders to hissing cockroaches and bull frogs, the club has something for everyone.”
