Fire crews called to telephone exchange in village near Lancaster after alarm is raised

Firefighters were called out to a suspected blaze at a telephone exchange on Thursday evening.

Crews from Hornby Fire Station attended the fire alarm sounding just after 7.30pm in Clapham, North Yorkshire, along with Skipton crews.

The incident was at a telephone exchange, and fortunately there was no fire or smoke present.

The property was fully inspected by crews before leaving the scene.
