Fire crews called out after car catches fire on M6 at Lancaster

A car caught fire on the M6 at Lancaster on Saturday.

Three fire engines from Lancaster and Garstang attended the fire on the hard shoulder of the M6 northbound between junctions 33 and 34 at 1pm.

Firefighters extinguished the blaze using a hose reel and two breathing apparatus, and were at the scene for about 40 minutes.
