A new series of workshops for parents and carers of children aged 0-7 starts on Saturday, March 15 at Lancaster Steiner School in Lune Road.
The workshops focus on the importance of play and nurturing natural childhood development and are run by a highly experienced and qualified Early Years practitioner.
Denise Randall, the Early Years practitioner, said: “It is not easy being a parent in the 21st century. It can be a struggle to find quality family time, to truly connect with and nurture your child’s development.
“The workshops will explore play; play is how children learn, joining children in play gives parents an opportunity to engage in a nurturing child centred activity and builds strong bonds between parents and child.”
Workshops will run on Saturdays from 10am until noon. Workshops cost £3 per person and a crèche may be available at a cost of £5 per child.
