The Dukes will be hosting an evening based on true and untrue stories.
Every Brilliant Thing is a new play at the Lancaster theatre which encourages the audience to fully appreciate the little things which makes life worthwhile, from that first coffee in the morning to snowdrops appearing in early spring.
It begins with a young boy trying to make sense of his mother’s attempted suicide.
He starts making a list of everything that’s brilliant in the world and carries on throughout life whenever he feels the need to cheer himself up.
This life-affirming one man show, which involves members of the audience, is hosted by Jonny Donahoe, an actor, comedian and writer.
It will be performed in The Round at The Dukes on May 26 and is recommended for anyone aged 12-plus.
