Drugs trial date set
A woman from Morecambe has been committed for trial at Crown court on a charge of possession of drugs with intent to supply.
Michele Towers, 47, of Broadfields Caravan Park, Oxcliffe Road, Heaton-with-Oxcliffe, is charged that on June 25 at Sandbach she had in her possession approximately 5kg of cannabis with intent to supply. She entered a plea of not guilty when she appeared before South and East Cheshire Magistrates’ Court. She was sent for trial to Chester Crown Court on October 21. She also faces a second charge of possession of cocaine for which she will stand trial.
