Dr Umar Patel is alleged to have recorded on a mobile phone a man in a cubicle of the public toilets at The Harbour hospital, Preston New Road, in February this year.

Dr Patel, 31, of Sunning Hill Street, Bolton, pleaded not guilty to a charge of voyeurism by recording a person doing a private act for the purpose of obtaining sexual gratification, and asked for trial at crown court.

He was bailed to appear at Preston Crown Court on June 29. Dr Patel must not contact the complainant or enter The Harbour hospital as conditions of his bail.
