Hide AdLancashire Day remembers November 27, 1295, when elected representatives from the county were called to Westminster by King Edward I to attend what later became known as ‘The Model Parliament’.
The historic event is marked by the reading of proclamations, swearing allegiance to the Queen, and by numerous events and activities taking place across the county.
Morecambe and Lancaster Visitor Centres in Marine Road Central and Meeting House Lane respectively will be revealing lots of interesting facts and information about Lancashire on the day.
Goody bags boasting tea, books, badges, fridge magnets and tea towels will also be up for grabs.
