Women sought after make-up theft

Top brand make-up worth nearly £200 was stolen from Boots in Lancaster.

Police have released CCTV stills following the theft of £194 worth of Benefit makeup from the city chemist.

Two women entered Boots and selected numerous items of premium brand makeup and placed the items in their bags before leaving the store without paying.

PC Carl Wood from Lancaster Police, said: “We would ask the public to study the images released and I would urge anybody that recognises the females to get in contact with us.”

The theft occurred between 12.37pm and 1.07pm on April 16.
