Woman pleads not guilty to Morecambe caravan park murder

A woman who appeared at Preston Crown Court in connection with the alleged murder of 23-year-old Damon Searson has pleaded not guilty.

Terri-Marie Palmer, 23, of Warton Avenue, Heysham was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Preston Crown Court on December 18.

A preliminary trial date has been set for February 8, 2016.

Police were called by the ambulance service to a caravan on Stud Farm Park, Oxcliffe Road, Morecambe at 12.15am on Friday August 14, following reports that a man had been stabbed.

The victim, Mr Searson, was taken to Royal Lancaster Infirmary with a wound to his chest but was pronounced dead on arrival.
