A HEYSHAM woman has been left devastated after burglars took a watch belonging to her late husband.
They broke into the house in Sefton Road between 12.30pm and 3.45pm on Tuesday 13 September and stole stole a Samsung television as well as the Omega watch.
Police said the watch was of “huge sentimental value” to her and are keen to find the person or people responsible for this burglary so they can get it back.
Detective Sergeant Steve Craig said: “The theft of her late husband’s watch has left the victim completely devastated and we want to do all we can to get the watch back for her and bring whoever is responsible to justice.
“If anybody was in the area at the time of the burglary and saw anything suspicious then I would urge them to contact police.
“I would also be very keen to speak with anybody who has any information they think could help us progress this investigation.”
