The family of a teenager who died in hospital after attending Kendal Calling festival, have paid tribute to his life.

Christian Pay, 18, from Millom, passed away on July 31.

Christian’s mum Debbie Pay, said: “Christian was small in stature but had the heart of a lion and enough personality for everyone.

“He was just a fun, fun guy and such a nice person - he hated seeing anyone being picked on.

“He was studying motor vehicle maintenance at Furness College which he loved.

“He leaves behind an older brother Adam and older sister Chloe, who are both devastated.

He was loved by all and will be missed by everyone.”
