A MAN involved in the cloning of tractors stolen from farms across the country has been given six months to repay £1,811 of his ill-gotten gains.
Stuart Cartmell, 47, of Capernwray, was jailed for 19 months in February after pleading guilty to handling stolen goods and making false statements.
Co-defendant Edward Harrison, 26, formerly of High Street, High Bentham, was jailed for 35 months after he admitted handling stolen goods, fraud by false representation and making false statements.
Another man, Adam Kirk, 37, of Halton Park, Halton, received an eight-month suspended sentence after admitting handling stolen goods.
