These are some of the traffic offences Lancashire Police have tackled this week:

A motorist driving a Toyota Corolla decided to turn right on St George's Road after spotting a marked police can. This sparked suspicions from an unmarked police car that was following. The driver was stopped and checks revealed he had a revoked driving licence or insurance.

A driver was caught reaching speeds in excess of 100mph on the M6. It was followed by police before being stung, bringing it to a stop. The driver was reported and summonsed to court.

Police were alerted to this Audi after checks showed it had failed to stop twice for officers from another force. The vehicle was followed covertly and was finally stopped in Yeadon Way, Blackpool. Officers found the driver had no insurance and also failed a roadside drug test for cannabis.
