Police in Fife have renewed their appeal for information about a man missing since July 16 who was last seen in Morecambe.

Andrew Millar, 66, suffers from a number of medical conditions including angina and diabetes and his family are concerned that he may not have access to the medication he needs to take regularly.

Mr Millar was believed to have been within the Morecambe area for approximately two weeks and was last seen on the morning of July 29, leaving the area of Thornton Road in the town.

Chief inspector Chris Stones, of Police Scotland’s Fife Division, said: “It is not clear why Mr Millar left his home and travelled to Morecambe.

“There have been no confirmed sightings of him since then and it is possible he may have travelled elsewhere in the UK.

“Andrew Millar may be unaware that his family have reported him missing and we are asking Andrew to come forward and get in touch with the police to confirm he is safe and well.

“I am appealing for members of the public with any information or knows where he may be, to call the police on 101 or tell us anonymously through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
