Police have released CCTV of a burglary at a hotel in Morecambe.

The Crown in Marine Road Central was targeted in the early hours of Wednesday.

CCTV footage released by police shows a man in a white coat with a fur hood putting bottles of alcohol into a bag.

Morecambe Area Police said: “Please can you see if you recognise the male offender in the video.

“He is responsible for a burglary over night at The Crown in Morecambe.

“This is a really busy time of year for licensed premises so to have added costs of these types of crimes is not ideal. Any suggestions can be emailed to [email protected]”
