Police find owner of 20 stolen Nordic walking sticks following appeal after arrest in Lancaster

Police have identified the owner of 20 Nordic walking sticks found during an arrest in Lancaster.

Police arrested a 29-year-old man on suspicion of theft and assault on Anthony Road, Lancaster around 3.30am on Tuesday, July 12.

During the arrest, around 20 Nordic walking sticks were found and seized and police sought to identify the owner of the sticks.

Police today (Wednesday) confirmed the walking sticks were stolen and they have found the owner.
